Welcome to our polo pony page. Most fo our polo pony string are thoroughbred or thoroughbred crosses which gives them the speed and agility required to play polo. We also play a number of our paint horses, who have proven to be not only tough, but also fast and fun. While we refer to them as polo ponies, our horses range in height from 14.2hh to approximately 16hh.

Kizmet is a ten year old mare standing only 14.2hh. She is by Bold Scene out of an arab pony mare, Tat Ta (dec). Fast and furious, she won champion pony at the 2000 Merrimu Polo Tournament.

Zing is a seven year old mare by Bold Scene out of Khaddina (dec). She stands approximately 15.1hh and is one of our most talented horses.

Sycamore Street (aka Gabby) was purchased off the track in 1995. After a somewhat dubious start in polo, she has become one of our most successful horses, winning champion pony titles at the Victorian Championships and Yaloak tournaments.

Shambala Park Paint Stud lists the following horses from our 2005/2006 Polo Pony string. Due to other commitment, Shambala Park is not playing competitive polo in the 2006/2007 season. Please click on the links to learn more about individual horses and their careers on and off the polo field.
